Solid State Books hosts multiple book clubs, all free and open to the public and new members. You can find each month’s selections at the front of the store and online, and all selections are sold at a 10% discount until the meeting date. Cozy Reads Book Club

Meets on the 3rd Sunday at 4pm at H St., monthly.

Horror Book Club

Led by Horror enthusiast Philippe Nassif. We will be exploring all things horror, from ghosts and ghouls to slashers and thrillers and everything in between. Join DC's premier Horror book club hosted at Solid State Books!

Knits & Yarns

Knits n' Yarns knitting group is an open group for all bookish fiber artists to discuss works-in-progress, finished objects, and our favorite reads, current reads, and titles for our to-be-read lists. Bring your projects and stories, and join us for Knits n' Yarns!
Knits n’ Yarns meets at the front table at H St. every two weeks on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m.

Reading the City Book Club

Led by neighbor and urban policy journalist Emily Badger, this book club will range across non-fiction books about housing, transportation, architecture, poverty, urban history, politics and more. Join us if you’re curious about how cities work, and how to make them better.
