Pineapple DC Presents: A Parisian Palette

Join Pineapple DC as they host author and food stylist Jesse Kanelos Wiener Jessie Kanelos Weiner, a.k.a. “the francofly,” for an interactive evening of art, food, and conversation with moderator Ann Mah, DC- and Paris-based journalist and author.

As an American expat living in Paris, Jessie is surrounded by tasty inspiration everyday. Food is the common thread stringing together her creative pursuits, of which illustration and writing top the list. One look at her delightfully mouthwatering drawings will send you running to the kitchen.

Jessie and Ann will dish on life in Paris, the creative process, and tips for aspiring writers and artists. Plus there will be an exclusive watercolor workshop led by Jessie, using local, woman-made food products as our still-life muses. Whether you have a love affair with Paris or are looking to hone your artistic skills, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Signed copies of Jessie’s books Paris in Stride and Edible Paradise and Ann’s Mastering the Art of French Eating will be available for sale.
