Join Emily Paluska, the artist behind Revery Paper Flora, for an evening of paper flower making!
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: In this workshop, you will learn the basics of European crepe paper along with the skills and techniques to create realistic paper flowers. We will focus specifically on creating the universal darling of the floral world, the peony. You'll complete one peony in class and leave with the materials, templates and a detailed guide to make two more peonies at home. Keep them all for yourself or spread some cheer to the ones you love and appreciate!
Tickets are $60 and include all materials.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Emily Paluska is the paper artist behind Revery Paper Flora. Her work has been shared by Design Seeds, Craftsposure and Lia Griffith. Her inability to keep real plants alive in conjunction with her obsession with all things botanical, led to the creation of RPF. You can most often find her at her desk on Capitol Hill surrounded by hundreds of rolls of paper, cutting late into the night. She believes that exercising one's creative muscles leads to a happier life and hopes that by sharing her love of paper flowers with others, can help others find their creative spirit too.
