Send a man missing half his mind since childhood. And pray they can be trusted with the fate of a world. Because they may be more alien than the thing they’ve been sent to find.
A finalist for the Hugo Award on its first publication, Blindsight’s reputation has only increased in the ensuing years. It is one of the great modern examinations of just how alien truly alien life might actually be.
