Books and wine, together—what could be better?

Join us for a night of just that. A reading and conversation with D.C. author Rion Almicar Scott about his new book, The World Doesn't Require You, and Guernica editor Mickie Meinhardt, whose project The Buzzed Word pairs wine and books together. Domestique, a natural wine store in DC, will be pouring wines to match the book and hosting the reading on the Apollo rooftop space, where there will be a discussion of words, wine, and much more.

Domestique is a partnership between Jeff Segal and Selection Massale. We're focused exclusively on natural wines. For us, that means wines made from organic or biodynamic grapes, fermented with ambient yeasts, and with very minimal use of sulfur (if any). The wines we love are clean, terroir-driven, and transparent. We are located on the corner of Florida and North Capital and open seven days a week 12pm - 8pm.
